Food trailer water system

How the water system works
The water system uses a self-priming water supply booster pump with automatic start-stop function. Connect the suction port of the water pump through a suction pipe, and place the other end of the suction pipe in the water tank. One end of the water inlet pipe is connected to the water inlet of the water pump, and the other end is connected to the faucet. Turn off the faucet and the water pump automatically stops working.
Water tank
There are different types of water tanks for food trailers. According to the material, it can be divided into stainless steel water tank and food grade plastic water tank.
Plastic water tank. Plastic water tanks are generally smelted to 25L. When adding water, you need to open the water tank cover and directly use the water pipe to inject clean water. You can also move the bucket to the water source to get the water directly. The plastic water tank is very convenient, you can directly wash the entire water tank.
Stainless steel water tank. The stainless steel water tank can be customized with different capacities, 100L or 150L can be realized. When cleaning the stainless steel water tank, you can add cleaning agent, rinse repeatedly, and drain the waste water from the drain.
Oil filter
An oil filter is usually installed on the waste water tank to remove oil. The water in the waste tank can be discharged after treatment.
Because wastewater contains a lot of grease and other potentially perishable food scraps, you can't run it straight down the drain. According to the regulations of many regional health departments, you need to install oil filters to block grease and particulate matter.
Water pump
The water system adopts a special small water pump. Small water pumps generally have the function of automatic start and stop. When the tap is turned on, the water pump starts automatically. Turn off the faucet and the water pump automatically stops working.
The specifications of the sink must also meet certain standards. Many countries require food trailers and trucks to have three or four compartments for the sink. One of the sinks is for washing hands, and the other is for rinsing vegetables, equipment, or utensils.

Water heater

When using an electric water heater, please note that its wattage cannot exceed the maximum value of the food trailer's electrical system.
